From its inception, the goal of NYCID has been to provide valuable tools that Promote the creation of strong communities, good schools, effective communication, and positive role models, which are vital to the healthy development of our community.

 

To accomplish this task, we bring with us Core Values: Always learning, always teaching; bringing an indomitable spirit, passion and hope to our work; professionalism defined by respect, responsibility and accountability; and respect and collaboration as the foundation for building strong communities and relationships.

 

NYCID collaborates with interested schools and develops, customizes and implements self-sustaining After- School Care, After-School Programs, and Summer Programs.

 

These programs can be operated in any Elementary, Middle or High School.

After Care Programs
Supervised by high qualified staff, this program offers students engaging and fun-filled activities, both academic and recreational, in a safe and structured environment. Provided in the elementary schools during after school hours.

After- School/ Summer Programs
These enrichment programs are fully customized to each school's needs. Academic, Sports, Social and Arts activities; supervised by a nurturing, professional staff gets the kids involved, and promotes healthy development. Provided in Elementary, Middle, or High Schools during after-school/ summer hours.
